How Billeif collects, uses and protects your information

Billeif is a GST billing app made by Cyfernova. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Billeif website, web app and Android app, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It covers your own details and the details you add about your business, customers and vendors.
Information we collect
Account details: your name, email address and phone number, and your Google account’s name and email if you sign in with Google. Business details you enter: business name, GSTIN, address, bank and UPI details, logo and signature. Records you create: invoices, payments, customers and vendors (with their GSTINs, phone numbers and addresses), products, stock and expenses. Technical details: sign-in times, the device and browser you use, and error reports that help us fix problems.
How we use it
We use your information to run Billeif for you: to create and send bills, prepare GST returns, keep your stock and accounts, sync your business across devices, keep your account secure, answer your support requests and improve the app. We do not sell your information, and we do not use your business records for advertising.
The voice assistant
When you hold to talk, your recording is sent to our servers and turned into text. The text of your request is then processed by an AI model provider whose servers may be outside India, to work out what you asked for. The assistant only proposes changes: nothing is saved until you confirm it. We do not write your recordings or what you said to our logs.
Who we share it with
We share information only to run the features you use: cloud hosting and storage in Mumbai, email delivery, WhatsApp when you send a bill or reminder on WhatsApp, payment gateways such as Razorpay when you collect payments online, error reporting, and the government’s GST and e-invoice systems when you ask Billeif to file or generate something there. Team members you add see the business data their role allows. We disclose information to authorities only when the law requires it.
Where it is stored and how it is protected
Your data is kept on servers in Mumbai, India, encrypted with AES-256 and backed up every day. Billeif talks to its servers only over TLS 1.2 or newer. On the web, your sign-in is kept in an encrypted cookie that page scripts cannot read, and business data is never cached in your browser.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open. When you close your account we delete it or make it anonymous, except for what the law requires us to keep, such as records needed for tax or audit.
Your choices and rights
You can see and correct your profile and business details in the app at any time, and export your records. Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can also ask us for a summary of your personal data, ask us to correct or erase it, withdraw your consent, or nominate someone to act for you. Cookies
Billeif uses only the cookies it needs to work: one that keeps you signed in and one that remembers your language. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Children
Billeif is made for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will also tell you in the app or by email.
